From the film projector a ribbon of unexposed film threads across the room and loops back to the machine. The filmstrip cuts through the space – a line of emotion, voice made material – the gallery becoming a poetic moment. In these works the projector rejects it’s principal function and refuses to emit image instead throwing her/its noise into the dark. These film loop studies form linear slices through the gallery creating kinetic and audible drawings that resonate throughout the space.
