Ange Mullins is an artist and printmaker living in rural Northamptonshire where she experiences daily open spaces that inspire and motivate her creative practice.
Her work originates in handmade inks created from materials foraged from her local landscape, which she uses not only as an art material but also to physically connect with nature. Through her made inks Ange encourages natures direct influence in the resulting work, an approach she nurtures as a way of reconnection between artist and the natural world, and which is something of significant importance to her. Her interest in themes of materiality and anthropocentric narratives are explored further through this way of working.
Ange graduates graduate this autumn with a BA (Hons) Degree in Creative Arts and this exhibition is her degree show.
