The exhibition at the Centre for Strategy and Communication is a part of the annual Islington Exhibits visual arts Festival in North London. More than 20 new figurative paintings by Valery Koroshilov will be displayed there publicly for the first time featuring the artist’s favourite subjects: landscape, portraiture and still life. Valery Koroshilov is the winner of The Artist of The Year Competition 2010 (Artists & Illustrators Magazine). Based in Islington and exhibiting internationally, he focuses primarily on private and corporate commissions. Recent projects include P&O Cruises, where the designers of the British biggest luxury super-liner Ventura commissioned him 36 paintings and murals. Dame Helen Mirren officially opened it in 2008.
