This event, organised by Disability Arts Online, celebrates the launch of The Onyx Collective and their first creative collaboration together: The Onyx Publication. The collective is a group of seven artists who share the lived experience of disability and racism.

The artists are: whatsthebigmistry, Ashokkumar Mistry, Miss Jacqui, Alexandrina Hemsley, Kuli Kohli, Ngozi Ugochukwu and Omikemi. Nila Gupta, the eighth artist in the original collective, sadly passed away in 2021.
The event will include:
• Films by Ashok, whatsthebigmistry and Alexandrina
• Live performances by members of the collective
• An artist panel event with the collective, chaired by Amy Zamarripa Solis, exploring the collective’s mission and their first publication
