Chris McLoughlin is a contemporary British Artist who specializes in Landscape and Abstract Painting.Chris describes his work as a combination of elements fused together to represent nature’s meteorological phenomena and topographical features. By employing bold expressive brushwork, he analyses the Landscapes character through personal contact, memory, light, colour and form; looking to capture an immediate and spontaneousresponse to the subject matter. By pushing the boundaries of representational painting into a more abstract work he is able to capture and identify with the essence of nature. This exhibition brings together a collection of recent paintings of the Forest of Bowland and the Lake District. His work is regularly shown at various exhibitions and art fairs throughout the UK and is in private collections in Britain, USA and Australia.
