Bracknell town centre will be the host venue for an intervention by regional artists who will be exhibiting their art in and beyond the walls of Gallery@49, the contemporary art space on the corner of Crossway and Broadway. For this sixth ReOrsa Artists Project, curated by ReOrsa co-founder Jenny Parkes entitled ‘Boundaries and Beyond’, she asked artists to “explore a wide variety of boundaries and the breaking of them, from those of the individual’s perception and thoughts, to the boundaries of society and every day life, in both a literal and metaphorical sense”. Seventeen artists have been selected and will show their work in the exhibition space at Gallery@49, the empty shop windows on Crossway next to the gallery, the hoardings on boarded up shops along Broadway, and even with an art treasure hunt around the town itself.
