One of Blue Monkey Network’s foremost priorities is to create opportunities for artists to meet and get to know more about each other and the amazing diversity of work which we all make, right here in Sussex (and beyond).
As many of you will have seen, some of our Blue Monkey members have taken part in an ambitious exchange project involving artists from Italy and Sussex in a whole host of events under the umbrella of the Sotto Voce Festival organised by Glenys Jacques, Paula MacArthur and Tracy Jones in Hastings during July.
Festival Director and Producer Glenys will be joined by some of the artists who took part in the festival, to look back on events and tell us how it was for them. The evening will provide an opportunity for the artists to reflect on their experiences, share with us some images from the Festival, and join us in discussion about the pros and cons of festivals and what it’s like to take the lead in an ambitious project such as this.
