Over 200 original paintings will be for sale at the Downland Art Society’s two week Spring Exhibition in Arundel. The Society, which has over a hundred member artists, holds two exhibitions each year in Arundel, and this is the first. Entrance is free, as is parking in Mill Road. There will be a choice of work with a range of prices to suit most pockets. Many of the artists involved have repeated success and the Society’s exhibitions have become a regular haunt for art buyers. 95 paintings were purchased in last Spring’s exhibition; so if you are interested in original art at realistic prices, make a note to get there early! It’s even worth a re-visit as sold paintings are replaced with others thus providing even more choice. If you are an artists looking for opportunities to exhibit and sell your work then why not join the Society? There are monthly meetings with demonstrations by professionals and also workshops in addition to the exhibitions mentioned.
