For the next three months, Union Quay Artists Collective are putting themselves and their artwork on display in a project that combines performance, installation and an exhibition. The group will be setting up temporary studios in‘The Bridge’ at Tynemouth Station and will be developing work based on the theme of the Station and journeys. The public will be able to watch them as their work develops and aims to offer a rare insight into artists’ working methods and studio conditions as well as supporting the ongoing regeneration of this historic site. The exhibition is supported by Arts Council England, North Tyneside Council, Friends of Tynemouth Station, Station developments and Nexus
