As part of a two month project commissioned by South Square, the gallery’s home of Thornton village becomes the latest focus for Rupert Clamp’s socially engaged art practice.
South Square Gallery is a grassroots exhibition space committed to providing a professional and supportive resource for artists and emerging curators. As a test bed for new ideas, the gallery hosts an ever evolving dialogue between artists and their audience. Established in 1982 South Square Gallery has built up a strong reputation as an integral and ambitious contemporary art venue in the Yorkshire region.
