Following the success of the first exhibition in July, Mona House Art Gallery will play host to the Body Collective 2 this November. The second installment welcomes back celebrated artist Helen Gorrill, who will be presenting some of her more provocative prints. The theme set by Gorrill’s art will reflect the overall tone of the work on show, which as a whole aims to challenge perceptions of art around Morecambe and Lancaster. Other returning artists include Joseph Cowell, who initially concocted the Body Collective concept, and fellow Mona House resident artists Free: Control. Additions to the line-up include Richard Davis, Rachael Allen and Pam Beck. The exhibition opening night will take place on Thursday 19th November from 6.30pm-9.00pm, which includes a ticket for the ‘Never seen before by Human eyes piece of art’ raffle! Guests are more than welcome to bring their own drinks on the evening as well.
