You awake to find yourself sitting at a table across from a stranger, your friends are gone and you are faced with the question ‘how do you build a reality which doesn’t collapse within three days?’ Telling the strange story of the disappearance of nine people in 1959, CiRCA69 has worked with Burley Historical Society’s collection of letters left behind by eight of the disappeared to craft a tale in virtual reality which places you at the centre of the mystery.

This theatre show combines immersive technologies and live performance to present a real time interactive experience for Oculus Rift. The piece has enjoyed a hugely successful world tour of 20 countries across six continents throughout 2016/17 and is widely seen as a landmark piece of storytelling for the new medium of virtual reality.
