An experiential course of artists’ book making. Led by Pip Woolf and Lin Charlston On 16th, 17th and 28th July 2009 At Cae’r Hendre Studio, Llangynidr. A three day exploration of artists’ book making which combines drawing and use of naturally occurring colours with book structures and forms that take their inspiration from the garden at Cae’r Hendre During the first two days of the course we will: · draw through sensory experience· discover and use local colour from plant and mineral material· create book structures inspired by natural forms in the garden· use words as drawing marks and dialogue· develop individual or collaborative projects On the third day we will review all the projects and use each others different creative processes to stimulate further artists’ book development. Cost £125 (£105 concession) for three days including basic materials and refreshments.Places are limited so please early booking is advisable.
