‘Through celebrating memories and recollections we can keep creating new meeting spaces.’
An alternative public bench sets the scene for this exhibition. Created in response to the effects of lockdowns on interactions with public space and rediscovering its value. ‘To build a bench’ is an opportunity to continue with its transformation into a seat encouraging activities on mindfulness with collaborations and live performances from guest artists ready to welcome all and contribute to the local community in Croydon.
