This exhibition brings together for the first time the work of two local artists who concern themselves with ideas linked to permanence and fragility. Often using organic forms as their starting point they explore, amongst other things, the dichotomy of objects that may be both visually engaging yet in a state of decay.Sally Tyrie uses primarily mark-making, drawing and printmaking to convey her ideas, while Ken Ager’s work incorporates textile and manipulated found materials and metals.
