TURNING POINT features two artists who create different forms of painting. Fiona Scheibl, a Hertford based artist who works in oils, is showing a new body of still life paintings in this exhibition which show subtle changes in colour and mood. Glanfyll Lewis’s ‘digital paintings’ are created using the computer and his own imagination. In the making of his work he has no predetermined end in sight, no landscape or reclining figure. The on-screen experimentation with colour, line and drawn shapes generates unique compositions of bold colours which are captured on paper.
