This body of connected works made over more than six years explores the boundaries of what we know as ‘life’ in the 21st century, alongside a preoccupation with the complex networks and systems which connect us chemically, biologically, physically and technologically. The work opens up questions about how we feel about science and technology and the difficult ethical dilemmas created through scientific progress, occasionally presenting fictitious scenarios somewhere between sci-fi and fairytale.
Judith will be working in the space every day the exhibition is open, making new work to add to and alter the exhibition over the course of the six weeks.
