Nine up and coming UK-based artists are set to open a three day exhibition – ‘When the Moon Hits Your Eye’ – showcasing a cross section of contemporary art work which was developed following a three month Royal Scottish Academy Scholarship in Florence, Italy. – David Cass – Rebecca Cusworth – Jamie Fitzpatrick – Giovanni Giacoia – Fiona Jarrett – Stephen Kavanagh – Ashley Nieuwenhuizen – Sophie Ormerod – – Mary Somerville – Working in response to the vibrant culture and dark history of the nostalgic city of Florence, the artists’ diverse collection of work will include film, photography, animation, performance art, sculptural work, drawing and painting.
