Artists – all welcome FREE to Blue Monkey Network members; £5 non-members Refreshments available (contributions welcome) or feel free to bring a bottle. Here at Blue Monkey Network, we like to create opportunities for artists to get to know some of the people who make things happen in the arts in Sussex. For our May event we’re pleased to introduce Teri Sayers-Cooper, Director of Creative Force and Clare Halstead, Towner’s new Learning and Outreach Manager. Teri and Clare will tell us about their roles within their organisations, their plans for the future and ways in which they work with artists. If you’re interested in learning more about the roles of artists in the community or in gallery education and outreach, come and join us and find out more about how artists work with organisations like Towner & Creative Force. Teri Sayers-Cooper is an experienced arts festivals, events and project manager who is passionate about the arts. Her work embraces all artistic disciplines. Clare Halstead has been managing arts projects and specialising in creative learning and engaging people of all ages with the arts for many years. She has joined Towner after working freelance for a couple of years and prior to that worked with Creative Partnerships Sussex and Surrey and for the Arts Service at West Sussex County Council.
