“Crafted meticulously, with accents of gold lustre and strands of delicate cashmere and silk, these hares resonate with the superstitions that were prevalent on the cusp of urban and rural life, where Nici resides.
The series, prompted by the Covid-19 Pandemic, explores the ancient approaches to disease and remedy, making each hare not just a work of art, but a symbol of hope and protection against illness. Experience the magic of these white porcelain hares, each resting on its own grey slate plinth, forming a mesmerising triangular arrangement when displayed together.”
