WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Lucas D’Praser Corp will be joining us in the studio again this Autumn to extend his rubbings workshop that he led in the Summer. We will be taking rubbings from various surfaces in the studio and Exmouth market and combining them with observational drawing, and also image transfers using wintergreen oil.
Materials are included.
Format: Our Thursday evening series of workshops will focus on extending drawing through low-tech, low cost, DIY techniques. The creatives leading each workshop are young and emerging, yet each is working in a strong and accomplished way with their approach and materials.

BIO
Lucas has recently been taking rubbings from logos and surfaces that he encounters on walks in Newcastle, where he studies, and London, and incorporates them into his drawings. He borrows and recycles imagery from advertising, coins, street signs and other ephemera in his works which evoke layers of memory.
WHO
Anyone who draws but would like to try out new materials and techniques centred on drawing.
