Join us at Autograph’s gallery for an afternoon exploring community, art making, and visual storytelling. Visual artists Karen Jelenje and Esther Phillips will lead this hands-on workshop, sharing how they incorporate questions of identity, culture and heritage into creative practice.

You’ll be guided through a series of practical printing, painting and mark-making exercises, culminating in the creation of a collaborative artwork. After the workshop, a piece of the work will be posted to each attendee.
This workshop is open to all experience levels and aims to foster social relationships in a relaxed and informal environment. We’ll chat, make art and have fun. Following the creative exercises, there will be time to socialise over refreshments.
