This exhibition is the central part of the 'zerosandones' digital arts festival, the longest running digital arts festival in the South of England, curated by Fairfields Director, which has run almost every year for the last fifteen years. The exhibition shows work by international artists from Europe, the US, and the UK. However, in contrast with previous years' exhibitions this year the emphasis in some of the works will be much more on the artistic and less on the particular digital element of it. This is an accurate reflection of the development of the use of the technology. As the use of digital technology is now so firmly embedded in everything we see, it has almost become invisible, and in some cases you may not even realise the work you are seeing is digital art – the medium has become so absorbed into the message.
