Breathe 10

Jayne Wilton, ‘Breathe 10’, Copper & breath, 2010. Courtesy: Photo courtesy of the artist. Individuals breathed onto clean copper plates and their breath subsequently etched onto the plate.
The richness of patina continues to develop on the surface of the work as a result of the touch and breath of the audience, thereby retaining some of the temporality of its initiating force the transient breath.
