November 2012. I spotted this panda waiting for a tube train on the weekend of Hallowe’en – the sight of this lone panda, spotted here waving a young child, just made me smile, somehow so sweet and melancholic at the same time. Any Swede will instantly recongnise the purple bag that he is carrying, as it comes from the state off-license (the only place you can buy wine, strong beer and spirits here). Life is wonderful!
