‘Konstnarshuset, Stockholm’, May 2013. I took this while waiting for a lecture to begin. Konstnarshuset (The artists’ house) is an amazing purpose built building from 1897 in the centre of the city. It is home to the artists’ ‘union’ and artists’ club as well as having exhibition rooms, classes, and of course(!) a bar. It feels bit as though time has stood still (apart from the exhibition programme), smoking is forbidden and yet light effects like this still appear!
