In the show I have a line of 8cm square pics that make up a 7meter length when placed end to end. Here and there I pop up, collaged into archive footage. I replace the actual photographer who was present taking pics of the launch of a ship by William Gray and Co. from their Hartlepool docks in the 40s. I am in effect an updated participant in this ongoing narrative.
