First projection onto the water screen, using an old film for the test. Quite effective; I was fairly pleased, and happy with some of the elements that I didn’t have control over/couldn’t plan. The chance element with the water screen – how all the water moves etc. was a key part to the drama of the screen, and largely why it’s included. The whole project is about chance, essentially, as I will go into when I do my next post relating to the narrative etc.My dissertation was all about chance and art, and my particular interest has always been in elemental chance; nature having the last word. Anselm Keifer works like an alchemist, and I am rather jealous of all his space to work! He’s perhaps nearest to how I would be if I had the space/time/money – oh, and with a little bit of Viola thrown-in, now that I
