Thinning water-based oil paint by Winsor & Newton – I tried to thin it with the W&N thinning medium however this tended to block the spray gun so I reverted to tap water. Although it was difficult to get it mixed sufficiently, so I resorted to putting a marble in the jam jar, screwing on the lid and shaking it vigorously for 10 minutes, which worked.
