If a person is asked to identify a complex or vague image (like the one above) they tend to ‘construct’ an explanation using their own background beliefs, interests and priorities.
Art
This has obvious, but sometimes forgotten, implications for art. The appreciation of an art form always depends on the observer’s disposition, as well as the art itself. It is a joint product.
