Dark Viscous by S Meiklejohn and Cosmos seed marbles by Jackie Yeomans ….. fossil fuels, and the Oil industry in particular, are not only responsible for pollution and environmental damage but they are the gateway to the money and power that fuels war, oppression and inequality across the world. As a small example of these effects, just last year over 5000 people drowned trying to escape these wars, their numbers are represented by these clay marbles each containing a single cosmos flower seed. These seeds will be planted following the exhibition in memory of those lost.
