” I often use everyday materials, shoes for example, that not only reflects the park’s heritage and history of Kettering but that also act as a bridge, using familiar objects in unusual ways to open conversations.”

Spellbound at Kettfest, Kettering reflects on mass production and mass consumption. Shoes are arranged on the ground and elevated on small stands. The stands become invisible and the shoes seem to impossibly hover above the ground, suspended, under another power.
