Five Sussex artists will talk about their work for 5 minutes each. 5 by 5 is an opportunity for the five presenters to brush up on their presentation skills, and a chance for artists to get to know each other better and explore the breadth and diversity of artistic practice in the region. The talks will be followed by time for discussion, chat and a glass of wine.The five presenters this month are: Pop-artist brothers Michael and Stephen Ring, a.k.a. Bignthickart, Paul Bartholomew a Sussex based painter, text-based artist Amanda Champness, photographer Axel Hesslenberg and artist Cat Ingrams, a founder member of Blue Monkey Studio, Eastbourne. In addition, Christine Chester from Sussex Downs College will join us to talk about Sussex Downs new Contemporary Practice course for artists
