Jancis Vaughan is a versatile printmaker and visual artist, based at Raven Studios in Shrewsbury. Jancis moved to Shropshire after studying Fine Art at De Montfort University, Lincoln, as a returning mature student. She is a member of the Wrexham Regional Print Centre, with whom she regularly takes part in the 20:20 Print Exchange with other printmakers from around the world. Jancis had her first solo exhibition (Re:Generation) at the VAN Gallery in Shrewsbury in April 2017, which explored the lace doilies inherited from her mother in the context of the passage of time. Since then she has exhibited regularly both locally and regionally. Jancis is active in arts education, running after school art clubs at primary schools in Shropshire, as well as workshops from Raven Studios for adults and young people. She is a creative practitioner for Meadow Arts, Ludlow, and an Arts Award Adviser, enabling young people to participate and achieve in the arts. Shrewsbury, Shropshire
