Joella Wheatley

A recent graduate from The Arts University College Bournemouth. Now undertaking a development program after being awarded the Platform Graduate Award.  Current work involves the aspect of isolation. I challenge the boundaries of a first hand experience by containing herself within an actual physical space for a certain amount of time. The process that I have adopted allows me to take a unique path that confronts me to look at the subject in a very different light. My work has started to take this role of a performance, yet it ends up as a painting.
