Karen Withers

I am a Fine Art student currently in my final year at K College, Ashford, Kent. My work is connected to water through its nurturing and supportive properties which I experienced with water births. It bears many memories and reflective qualities of time passed by and the ebb and flow of life. And yet there is another more secret world hidden in its depths. I use photography as a starting point and am currently working on a series of paintings on canvas and Batiks in preparation for the 'Final' exhibition in June.
