Sue Rossiter is a ceramic artist who lives and works in North Devon. After graduating with a distinction from the University of Plymouth College, Petroc she was selected for ‘Get Fresh’ at The Devon Guild of Craftsmen, profiling exceptional emerging makers from the South West. The artwork made for this exhibition led onto an Arts Council Grant to produce a new body of sculptural forms, exploring dramatic new ways of expression, to celebrate the lost art of glove-making. Sue’s work celebrates makers’ connection to materials, to each other and to the homes, factories and communities where they lived and worked. Her sculptures and wall panels have been shown across the South West at galleries including White Moose, The Devon Guild, Blanchminster, Bradworthy, Broomhill and Harbour House. North Devon
