Well, here I am, w0budong installation in Manchester centre complete, staying in Salford with my youngest daughter and her partner, which is extremely convenient and a lovely chance to catch up with them both.

Many thanks to Andrew Dalton, www.andrew-dalton.com curator, art worker and print maker, who drove the van containing my painting and all the other bits of equipment into the centre of Manchester while I panicked that I had forgotten something.

We arrived at 3 Piccadilly Place after an uneventful journey which only entailed one slight detour when we searched for the lay by for unloading the van.

I am extremely happy to be able to report that the exhibition w0budong is now installed. It looks good and we are ready for the opening tomorrow morning and Jayne’s performance in the afternoon.

It was brilliant to finally meet all the artists and chat to them about their work. I am looking forward to continuing this as the week progresses.

Artists: Julie Brixey-Williams, Jayne Lloyd, Clare Smith, Catherine Wynne-Paton and me!

I have posted an album entitled “A little taster of w0budong” on my facebook page: www.facebook.com/SueGoughArtist

The PV is on Thursday, some of my family are coming to see the exhibition on Saturday and take me to afternoon tea! I will be there for the discussion/talk on Sunday, before it all comes down later that day and on Monday Andy will arrive to load up and drive me home with it all.

I am so releived that the exhibition is finally in place and really looking forward to the rest of the week.
