For my final piece I decided to use a mix of both the last set of Abu Dhabi Images and the pictures I had taken at the park and church ruins.

I edited all the images into black and white leaving only the balloons in colour.

The pictures I chose from the Abu Dhabi images included;

The image where the model is holding the balloons as if they were a lantern giving light and guiding her through the abandoned house.An image with 3 archways the closets has a model holding balloons the middle a single chair and the final empty.An image of twins sat on top of a car almost mirroring each other holding the balloonsAnd finally and image of a girl in a dark abandoned house staring at the wall you can see light coming in through the window and the open door however our model ‘doll’ stays facing the corner.

The pictures I chose from Ipswich are;

An image of all three ballet dancers in the church ruins. I chose this image as each ballet dancer looks to be in a separate image as if they have all been edited and put together to create on image. The second image I used was of a girl being lifted up floating away with the balloons whith the other dancer is stood attempting to hold her down.

While editing the background out of this image as I had first thought it was ugly and wanted it white or to put another background into it I have now decided it is more strange and uncanny with the background left in the image. With the background taken out or replaced with a sky the image looks to normal as if they are just sat looking out at a beautiful view. However with the old background left as it is the viewer is left questioning why the models are just sat staring at a wall? Is it a wall? Etc.

This is another set of images taken in Abu Dhabi this time they have been taking in an abandoned house and construction site this has got to be one of my favourite sets of images they are exactly what I was hoping for the perfect mix of unhomely and interesting. I liked how well the balloons worked in my last set of images so I instructed my family to use balloons in this set of photos and it has worked really well with some of the images the way the model is holding the balloons it looks like the balloons should be a lantern used to explore the abandoned house.

These images were taken the other side of the church ruins. The wall they are sat in front of is not very attractive however it would not be hard to remove in Photoshop. I could easily make the wall all white or cut out just the girls and the walls and place them on an entirely new background for example a sky as if they are sitting on the edge of a cliff face.
