Even though I've not written for a month, I have been busy busy busy working and thinking about this project which really only has a month left. I was very efficient and completed a project overview before we are exhibiting and I see that I have 8 weeks to the final show….
This is how I completed my last 'show':
"This corridor of boxes leads into the only space left where everyday life can continue. The boxes surround us and we have to face the reality that we are in transition continually. Trapped. That moving on has to be about facing the fact that we are moving all the time, but what do we choose to take with us? Everything? Nothing? What happens to all our memories? Many people have said to me over the past couple of months that their belongings are their identity. Each box has an identity. It has markings of its travels and whom it has belonged to, and what belongings have been inside and where it is now to be placed."
