The three ways to create digital music:

(1) Algorithm: The music relates to the agency/object.

(2) Existing music form: The music does not relate to the agency/object.

(3) One person listening to the specific formof music, high of low volume. Other people can listen to the same as the person listens in the space. But I need to confirm what is the agency/object.

After applying colour grid to construct Wi-Fi house in the webpages, I substracted the colour with the monochrome filter to change my works from conceptual house to an artistic form.

In my previouse work, I adopted Wi-Fi manufacturer code to build the wall which is dotted when the network is open and solid if the network is encrypted. The manufacturer colour also as top roof colour and network names were shown in the roof. The serial number of Wi-Fi AP were converted to colour codes to constitute of windows, doors and bricks. My latest artwork is a digital book which is available in iBookstore (http://itunes.apple.com/uk/book/london-wi-fi-lands…). The single colour mask was covered on the house to change the house images to an artistic form which acquire the power of discourse from the predefined house object as an independent concept.

This music comes from my project visualising Wi-Fi landscapes in cities.
Inspired by Josef Albers, Le Corbusier and Iannis Xenakis, I tried to
explore the structures and relations in artworks, landscapes,
networks, architectures, societies and cultures.
Music is another way to “visualise” the structures and it offered an
acoustic way to understand our world.
