i am about to open a gallery in the canal basin, coventry.

it will be primarily a space for me to work as an artist and also exhibit my work. I also wish to showcase new, established artists and also students and graduates.

i can't believe its been so long since i posted on here!

the gallery is crazy! so much fun, so much hard work and there is less than 4 weeks til the end of my MA so i have no time for anything!.

my burlesque life drawing sessions are doing extremely well also and i've had lots of visitors and artists at the gallery…..

just need a few more…

The Lock gallery opens.

I opened on friday…only a day late!

it feels really good to finally be doing what i always wanted, now i just have to hope that it pays the bills!

i've had two customers! I have a meeting with an artist tomorrow, to discuss an exhibition, so i'm very excited about that.

Now all i have to do is try to figure out how to use dreamweaver, so that i can publish my new website.

The opening date for my gallery is getting nearer and nearer, I am very excited, but also worried that I won't have everything ready in time!

Trying to work on the opening, and also try to concentrate on my masters which finishes in september is mind blowing sometimes. I have no pictures as yet, but will post as soon as i do

I need a little help and advice.

when my gallery opens I am hoping to host exhibitions for local, new and established visual artists.

I am not sure what sort of price i need to charge, for an exhibition.

Basically, in return for the fee. There would be a private view, invites, and advertising, and primary use of the space for six weeks, including, staffing within the gallery?

does any one have any ideas?

cheers
