Thought this painting would never come together today. It’s never a comfortable experience, especially when trying something new, but it stayed in that messy disjointed stage for just that bit too long.

It’s amazing how even the images I set as my inspirations ages ago match my disposition each day. Today is a little faded with no all of me really visible, just like this door.

Loving the layers on door#6. Wasn’t sure at first but I’m getting into the collage layer before painting.
