The crit on Friday was very successful for the stage we’re at right now. The statement covers all the main points (the blogger profile has helped a lot with this!) and now just needs refining…I’ll have to send it to a few different people to get their suggestions. Although I didn’t have the video to show yet, the installation was up so everybody had a chance to visualise what it could look like, and gave me tips on how it should be filmed.
So, I was on a high point at 16.45, by 17.00 I couldn’t have been more angry. My work hangs in a crit room as my space is tiny and cluttered with bad light, and I was told that I had to take it down for the weekend. It takes so long to put up and take down, and on top of this, it becomes tangled when it isn’t hanging. Just when I thought things were going well; a good response and a camera at last, I now won’t be able to film on Monday! I’m being tested….
