you may have heard of these chatBot art generator systems with names like DALL-E , Midjourny etc
I then read more of Jason Allen’s story and what struck me was his statement that his involvement with the system en-route to creating his prize winning submission was of the order of 70 hours directing the system and entering over 9,000 commands — the whole endeavour beginning to sound very verbal and largely comparable with the effort of painting a picture with paint and brushes.
So it is necessary to find out what the technology here is doing and what it means for visual artists
