Continuing with the same project these are prints i have developed in relation to the collages.

The first Mahler, a rival of Wagner, and the idea of him working on puppet strings and the second being Wagner in a domiating state.

These prints are the first layer of begining to unpick the themes in their lives in relation to their music.

This collage is a response to the first point i’m exploring in Wagner life which is the anti Semitism and sewing the seeds for the national socialist movement. I will soon experiment with overlaying print to create a connection between the motives in his prelude to Tristan and Isolde and the themes I am exploring with in this life. From this I will move into animation to bring this to life and explore further with what I am playing with.
