Not been on here for a while as had a fall and my right hand has been injured, have had to wear a splint, which is quite restricting to me. It has happened at the worst time for me as I have so much work to contend with. I can only do my best, hoping that it may improve in time, bear in mind it’s four weeks now since it happened.

On a happy note I passed my option so I was pleased with that. It was drawing and I really enjoyed it. I used objects as my drawings, I used them in assemblage inside drawers and frames.

It was so much fun to do as I am a collector of found objects. I need to be strong though afterwards and remember to throw out too or it can be a problem!

Book me a place at the Priory when I have finished my degree…..

Its reading week and I need to catch up on all my written work as I have been distracted by other things.

There is a lot to do this year and I did not have a very good start but I hope to get back on track before I go into panic mode.

I’m sure everybody feels the same at this moment, I just have to refocus on my work then I will feel much better.

This is my first blog on A.N so I hope that it comes across okay. I am getting ready for the degree show and gathering together all my research and objects which will make-up my work. The time is flying by and its getting a bit scary now, but I still enjoy the work so that is half the battle.

I love to use found or bought objects in my work and use print and embroidery, I also use text to get my feelings across in my work.

I am now hoping to use furniture for the degree show, I am hoping to get an old wardrobe and dressing table.

I will be using clothes also and hope to stitch into them eventually. It is going to be about peoples memories and also if they hold any secrets.

I will keep you updated on my progress.
