Avgoustos Veinoglou

Augustus Veinoglou Artist, Snehta founder & Director Augustus Veinoglou is an artist, creative director and art educator. He has studied Sculpture, Edinburgh College of Art, Art Education at Athens School of Fine Art and Art Therapy at Queen Margaret University. He was a board member of Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop 2014-2016 and he recently had his solo exhibition at Elika gallery with work inspired by the metro system and other subterranean spaces in Athens. Previous residencies include, Zone d’Utopie Temporaire, curated by Alice Bonnot, 2017, The Royal Scottish Academy in Florence, 2004, Babayan art house, Turkey 2010, The John Mooney foundation, Chicago 2009, Dordtyard, Holland, 2015, Amorgos Erimia project, 2016 Greece, Colm Cillie, Convocation residency, Rassey & Glasgow 2015. Recent participation in Exhibitions include a space revolution mini conference at Athens Bienalle and People Never Notice anything at Guesthouse projects, London, showing amongst artists such us Jeremy Deller, David Shrigley, Jake and Dinos Chapman.
