Through inclusion of found objects, letters and songs Mhairi Killin references her own family history on the island of Iona to create a sensitive installation comprising silversmithing, weaving, drawing, sculpture and text. This exhibition focuses on themes of journeying and separation. The exhibition explores the overlay of her contemporary craft practice with the historical craft traditions, in particular weaving and silversmithing, of her ancestors on Iona.
