Manchester artist, Peter Davis, will be exhibiting his series of ‘technology addiction’ paintings at the Cass Art Space in the Northern Quarter, from this Sunday 10th September.

Davis’ contemporary portraits are inspired by people’s use of personal technology and how it’s changing our world and relationships.

“Through my hyper-realistic paintings I hope to capture the zeitgeist of society today and pose questions about our addiction to our devices.”

This is Davis’ first solo show and follows his admission earlier this year into the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts (MAFA). He comments: ”It’s been a whirlwind year in terms of getting more recognition and exposure. This is the first time I’ve had an my own exhibition and I’m thrilled that it’s in Manchester.”

All the work in this exhibition is for sale, either the original paintings or as signed, limited edition prints. The exhibition is at the Cass Art Space, 55-57 Oldham Street, Manchester from 10th – 23rd September 2017. FREE entry.
